He was in and out of consciousness and when we get actual video again he’s totally out of his Greek clothes and wearing a button down shirt and corduroy jacket and everything. He can barely walk when he is conscious So who dressed him? The Doctor wasn’t there and Katarina wouldn’t because she wouldn’t see anything wrong with what he was wearing…

See that poncey-haired cutie up there? That’s the Eighth Doctor. You may have seen a lot of people here on tumblr talking about him lately. He also walked right past Clara Oswald on your TV screen the other day, but maybe you blinked and missed him. That’s alright! You can always watch it again. Or watch his TV movie. Or read his novels and comics. Or listen to his thirty-billion-and-counting audios.

But the thing is, a lot of people recently seem to think that Moffat has it in for him. Even though that’s just random fan speculation based on nothing. I just wanted to set the record straight, because in fact…

Moffat was asked to write for Big Finish in the 90’s, but declined because he only wanted to write for Eight (and Paul McGann hadn’t signed yet).

Moffat adores the audios and has named “The Chimes Of Midnight” as his all-time favourite Eight episode.

Someone told Moffat once that Eight didn’t count. Moffat replied with “Wash. Out. Your. Mouth.”

Now stop panicking and realise how little of what’s being said on tumblr is based on fact, and how much is actually just the fans driving themselves mad with speculation. And go enjoy some Eight, whichever version of him you like. :)
